Changes In Momentum
Q1. As a result of a non zero resultant force, an object experiences a momentum change of 27 Kg m/s. This change in momentum takes 1.5 seconds. From this information calculate the size of the force applied to the object.
Q2. A force of 10 N is applied to an object, which experiences a change in momentum of 64 Kg m/s. Calculate the time for which the force was applied.
Q3. A bullet is fired from a gun, during which it experiences a force of 100 N applied over a period of 0.05 seconds. The mass of the bullet is 25 g, calculate the speed at which the bullet leaves the barrel of the gun.
