Surface Area to Volume Ratio
Q1. A sphere has a diameter of 20mm. Calculate:
- The surface area of the sphere
- The volume of the sphere
- The surface area to volume ratio of the sphere
Q2. Another sphere has a diameter of 10 mm. Calculate:
- The surface area of this second sphere
- The volume of the second sphere
- The surface area to volume ratio of the sphere
In both cases you will need to know the surface area and volume equations for a sphere. You should go to the "Useful Mathematical Formulae" section to obtain this information.
